2 Timothy 3.16 : "All Scripture is inspired by God, and useful for teaching, for convincing, for correcting, for instructing in righteousness...."
The Bible is the authority to which Christians submit. It is more than a book, it gives the meaning of human existence, the man discovers what God is still doing today. The whole Scripture is only an indivisible plot, it is the Word of God revealed to mankind through time to show us his will to save us. The Word of God judges the thoughts of the heart, which is why it is called Holy Word.
John 8.32 : "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
One of the most striking features of the Bible is that it claims to represent the inspired Word of Almighty God. The Holy Word never contradicts itself, the divine foundation is indisputable. From creation to the Apocalypse, God only wants one thing, to maintain a personal relationship with his children: a bond of Love through faith given. Scripture alone guarantees the truth, pure and unmixed.
Jeremiah 3.19 : "I said to myself, Thou shalt call me" my father, "thou shalt not turn away from me."
The New Testament fully confirms the divine source of the Old Testament. It is Jesus Christ who from beginning to end is the great subject of the Bible. Yeshua, the savior is the revealed Word of God. His teachings are so high that the Messiah is the regulator of all things. He raises beyond the glorious work of creation.
John 6.47 : "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me has eternal life."
The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the Son of God. Christ is thus the center of all the ways and all the thoughts of God, the subject of all his promises. The Messiah's Word must be meditated in a spirit of prayer and dependence so that the Holy Spirit may explain its depth to us and thus make it profitable to our soul.
Colossians 1.1 : "For in him were created all things that are in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, thrones and dignities, rulers, and authorities: all things were created by him and for him."
The main message of the Bible is that of a God who wants to save all people. Jesus Christ, by his life; his teaching, his death, and his resurrection is the one given to us according to his heart. The Messiah gave his life for all who love him. That is why a broken soul whose only motive is in Christ's heart is to receive his teaching.
Isaiah 66.2 : "This is on whom I will look: on him that suffereth, and whose spirit is downcast, on him that feareth my word."
Conclusion : religiosity is to go into what man has created. But has not God made the wisdom of the world mad?
The Apostle Paul tells us: "Do not conform to the present century...." (Romans 12.2). Faith is to go and draw what God has in himself from life, anointing and strength, this is the fundamental difference with religions, dogmas and traditions. When we go beyond what God has planned for us, we fall into the religious system. True worshipers worship in the Spirit and in truth in dependence on the Lord Jesus. Heaven and earth will pass, but the truth remains forever.
John 14.21 : "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will make myself known unto him." Amen!
